Bajtek Race

As every year, after the official 10 km race, the youngest participants in the event will line up at the start to compete in Bajtek Race 2017. This year’s edition is organised in two age categories. Enrolments for the race are held only in the competition office.

  • 2-7 years – (about) 100-metre dash
  • 8-12 years – (about) 400-metre race

REGULATIONS of Bajtek Race – the number of places is limited to 150. Races will be held over two distances – 100 m (up to 7 years of age) and 400 m (over 8 years). The number of places applies to both distances. Enrolments will be held at the competition office for as long as places are available. Assembly for the race will take place after the main race is finished, i.e. at 12:30, at the finishing line.

  1. The purpose of the race is to have a good time.
  2. The number of runners is limited to 150 (for the two races).
  3. The race will be held over two distances: 2-7 years of age – (about) 100-metre dash and 8-12 years of age – (about) 400-metre race.
  4. There will be no winners of Bajtek Run. Every athlete to reach the finishing line will receive a commemorative medal.
  5. Enrolments for the race will be held in the business hours of the competition office on Friday and Saturday, for as long as places are available (the business hours of the competition office will be announced as part of the organisers’ message).
  6. On the day of the race, guardians enrolling a child will sign a declaration stating that the under-age person is taking part in the competition exclusively under their responsibility, that the child is in good health and there are no medical or systemic contraindications to their participation in the race, and that the child in their care has a personal accident insurance, as well as that they release the organiser from liability for any injuries sustained in the race.
  7. Assembly for the race will take place after the main race is finished, i.e. at 12:30, at the starting gate.
  8. The race is free of charge.
  9. The organiser undertakes to properly and safely conduct the race, whose purpose is a good time as opposed to rivalry. Also, the organiser ensures full medical support.
